Position: Sport Supervisors
Job description: This position works at the field or facility to assist in all game day operations and management for that sports season.  They are responsible for all public relation aspects during the season. They will work directly with the LRC Director. There is a position for the following sports: Soccer, Flag Football, Volleyball, Basketball and Baseball/Softball.
<strong?Duties include:

  • Field or facility set up/take down for all games
  • Assist patron needs (explain rules, identify field locations, etc.)
  • Coordinate officials
  • Collect game cards and submit to Director
  • Marshall games
  • Help manage tournamentsQualifications:
  • Great knowledge of the sport applying for
  • Understanding of the rules
  • Able to communicate well with parents, coaches and officials
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Availability during the season/sport applying for
  • Dependability and punctuality

Part-Time Position: Enrichment Activity
Coordinator
Job description: We are seeking an individual who will be tasked with implementing non-sports, life enrichment activities for youth, adults and seniors. The individual will report and coordinate programs directly with the LRC Director. In addition, they will provide monthly reports, both verbal and written to the Board. The will also be responsible for helping further the stated goals of LRC to serve the needs of the Louisburg Community.
Duties include:
  • Work with LRC Director to develop a schedule and budget to roll out new non-sports, life enrichment activities, in the community.
  • Contribute ideas for new programs and input on improving existing programs
  • Implement new programs
  • Develop a follow up survey for program participants to provide feedback on their experience
  • Develop a quarterly newsletter updating the community on LRC activities and plan for rolling out future programs.
  • Organize and implement a quarterly community outreach activity to meet with the public and solicit feedback.
  • Provide monthly progress reports to the Board.
  • Other duties and projects as needed.Qualifications:
  • College degree in Recreation, Business or Marketing preferred. Other degrees can be considered as a substitute if a correlation to how that can translate to success in this position can be demonstrated.
  • Relevant experience preferred. Experience will be factored in and can be potentially substituted for education experience

    Job description: We are seeking community members that are interested in running for the Louisburg Recreation Board. Position
    #5, at-large, is up for applications. This appointment will be for a 4-year term. (January 2019 – December 2022)
